Gin is the founder of Geaux Fight, a program rooted in her dedication to improving care for oncology patients and survivors. Her journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2003, where she specialized in Outdoor Leadership and minored in Psychology. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2008, followed by a Fellowship with the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy, which she completed in 2011.

With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Gin developed expertise in using advanced manual therapy techniques to address joint and soft tissue restrictions. Her approach is deeply informed by research and clinical experience, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored and practical.

In 2017, Gin began pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, completing it in 2020. This program became the catalyst for the creation of Geaux Fight. Inspired by its principles and core values, she partnered with a renowned oncologist to advocate for a dedicated oncology rehabilitation program—a bold step in addressing the unique challenges faced by cancer survivors.

Gin’s passion for oncology rehab is deeply personal. Witnessing the struggles of family members affected by cancer, she became determined to make a difference. Her work focuses on empowering survivors to navigate their physical and emotional recovery with strength, resilience, and hope.

Gin believes in transforming adversity into opportunity. As John F. Kennedy once noted, the Chinese word for “crisis” represents both “danger” and “a turning point.” This philosophy perfectly reflects the origins of Geaux Fight—a program built on the belief that every challenge brings the potential for change.

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
