September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers. This year, about 110,000 women in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute (uterine, ovarian, cervical, and vulvar estimates combined). Treatment for these cancers — surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy — can bring real physical changes: pelvic pain, weakness, lymphedema, and shifts in bladder or bowel function that are common but rarely talked about.
That’s where we come in. At Geaux Fight, our Pelvic Floor Therapy program helps survivors rebuild strength, ease discomfort, and reclaim confidence after treatment. You don’t have to just survive gynecologic cancer — with the right support, you can thrive. If you or someone you love is navigating recovery, we’re here, alongside your oncology team, every step of the way.
